Chocolate Chip Butterscotch Brownies

ingredients 1 stick butter                                                                 1 cup baked brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons milk 1 egg 1 cup flour 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1. Heat oven to 350,  2. Grease 8 x 8 pan.  3. Melt butter in 1 1/2 quart saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, vanilla, milk, and egg.  4. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in pan.  5. Bake about 25 minutes - we baked for 20 minutes. Looks great! 

Quick Yellow Cupcakes And Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients 2 1/4 cups flour 1 1/3 cups sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder  1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs Recipe Combine dry ingredients in bowl.  Add shortening, milk, and vanilla. Mix on low speed about 1 minute.  Add eggs.  Mix on low speed about 30 seconds.  Mix on medium/high speed for 1 minute. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, less for cupcakes. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then cool on wire rack.  Frost if desired - frosting recipe below.  Frosting:  ingredients 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 tablespoon corn syrup 2 cups powdered sugar 1 ounce chocolate chips (melted) Mix butter for on medium speed for 1.5 minutes. Add corn syrup and mix well. Gradually add powdered sugar. Beat 1 minute on medium. Slowly add melted chocolate and beat 1.5 minutes on low speed. Turn back up to medium speed and mix 1 minute. Frost cupcakes. the frosting turned out YUMMY

chewy brownie cookies Ingredients 2/3 cup crisco shortening 1-1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar 1 tablespoon water 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/3 cup cocoa 1/4 teaspoon baking soda  1/2 teaspoon salt  2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips makes about 3 dozen cookies recipe 1. heat oven to 375 degrees 2. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, water, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat eggs into creamed mixture.  3. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.  4. Drop by rounded measuring spoonfuls onto uncreased baking sheet.  5. bake one baking sheet at a time at 375 for 7-9 minutes or until cookies are set. Cookies will appear soft and moist. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet then remove cookies to foil or cooling rack to cool completely.  try not to get messy...

Molten Chocolate Cakes (Lava Cakes)

Ingredients : Ingredients 1 1/2 cups (2 1/2) sticks butter  3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips  4 medium eggs  1/2 cup sugar  3/4 cup flour  12 caramel candies  1/4 cup evaporated milk, divided  A note from the baker : 1. preheat oven 325 degrees F. grease 12 muffin cups.   2. combine butter and chocolate chips in a double boiler. Cook, stirring continually, until chocolate is melted. Let stand to cool slightly.  3. combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl. beat with an electric mixer at medium speed until thickened, about 5 minutes add flour gradually, beating at low speed. add chocolate mixture and beat until thick and glossy about 3 min. 4. fill the prepared muffin cups 2 thirds full. bake the cakes for 5 minutes.. 5. meanwhile, combine caramels and 2 tablespoons of evaporated milk in a double boiler. cook stirring continently, until caramels are melted. spoon 2 teaspoonfuls of the caramel mixture into ea...
